Achitecture

Picture
During the Industrial Revolution, architecture changed. Engineers and architects began using new materials such as cast iron, steel, and glass. The new buildings that were being built were very large. Houses, schools, and factories were all built with these new materials and were all made with a big structure. The people of the 18th century could not believe that such buildings could be made and never imagined that they would be so large. Next, electric elevators were introduced. The people of this time were astonished by the new invention.
